Michele Koh Morollo is the author of Rotten Jellybeans – a semi-autobiographical collection of short stories and essays, and Without – a collection of 15 short stories about lack and longing.

She was a 2010 recipient of the National Arts Council, Singapore’s Arts Creation Grant, and had two short stories published in fiction anthology Love and Lust in Singapore.

In 2016, her short story “Liberty Exchange” was published in Hong Kong Future Perfect – a Hong Kong Writers Circle anthology of speculative fiction; a review in the South China Morning Post (SCMP) referred to “Liberty Exchange” as “probably the anthology’s most entertaining story”. In 2017, her short story “Summer Visitors” was published in Imprint 16 – an annual anthology by Women In Publishing; SCMP noted her story as one of the collection’s “standout pieces”.
